Results for the B’ham & District XC league race 3 (Droitwich), 13-Jan-2018

Thanks to Wayne for the following report: 16 of the blue and gold took part in 3rd race in this seasons cross country league , at Droitwich With a drastic change in the course this time ( instead of 2 laps around the rugby pitch it had now become a football pitch ) !!!!!!!!!! Then head out for 3 big laps Well done to everyone and thankyou to all that took part , with Pete making his league debut and Craig backing up last weeks Warwickshire xc performance with another strong run and being rewarded with a A team finishing position Final league race is Saturday 10th February at Aldridge

Thanks to Wayne for the following report: 9 sphinx blokes took part in this years county championship at Warley Woods in Birmingham On 4 lap course approx 10km , basically across 1 side of a hill , with conditions being cold but dry the charge for the run to the first corner began , and set us in our way With Craig making his sphinx xc debut produced a excellent run.

Results for the Devils Punch Bowl Boxing Day fun run, 26-Dec-2017

Thanks to Alex Bartlett for the following report: Here’s the results of the annual Devils Punch Bowl Boxing Day 3.5 Mile Fun Run I did with my Dad John, Sis Vicki Clarke and Bro-in-Law James Clarke. It started with a long, muddy down hill and ended with a longer uphill climb. Just over 2.5 miles in there was a drinks station where runners got a local pint of ale (if they wanted) which we drank and then we had just under a mile to the finish.
