Living a life that is free from harm and abuse is a fundamental human right and an essential requirement for health and well-being.
Sphinx athletics club promotes a safe, fair and inclusive culture where any form of harm or abuse is simply not acceptable and will not be tolerated.
Even in clubs like ours it is possible that members may witness, either first or second hand something that may give them a cause for concern regarding the welfare or one of our members.
Examples of a cause for concern are wide ranging across a number of areas including physical, emotional, sexual or neglect. The matter that is causing the concern could have taken place away from our club and many people who are experiencing abuse may see the club as being a safe and supportive environment to raise an issue.
If there is something that gives you a cause for concern regarding the welfare of one of our members please report this to our club safeguarding and welfare officers using our Reporting Form - please save a copy of the form, complete as much detail as relevant and email to our Welfare Officers below.
