Sphinx AC Coombe 8
Thank you to everyone who ran or marshalled in this years Coombe 8 race. It was a great turn out and lovely morning’s racing.

The Sphinx AC Coombe 8 is a tough multi-terrain course with a mixture of wooded trails and undulating farm land at the historic site of Coombe Abbey on the outskirts of Coventry.
Back for 2022 it will be held on the 27th November and entries can be found here:

With entry including a long sleeved technical t-shirt, at just £20 or £22 depending on affiliation this race offers a mornings racing and fantastic value for money.
The course
Coombe Country Park is a working estate, which means that boundaries change and sections of the venue can become available or unavailble from year to year. The course was measured at approximately 8 miles and the route can be seen here:
