Tony McCarroll, Mary Bench, Karen Timothy, Ian Ward and Hamilton Ngan completed this popular marathon, with Mary achieving a well-deserved PB.

5 Sphinx runners, plus support, travelled to the coast to take part in the Beachy Head marathon. Helen achieved a PB with the able support of Mark.

Bryan Pears, Stuart Banbrook and Myles Davies went to Suffolk and took part in a Coastal Trail Series race.
Bryan and Stuart both did the coastal trail marathon in 4:48:27 for 27 miles.
Myles did the coastal trail ultra-marathon in 5:58:58 for 33 miles.
Hamilton completed the 26.2 mile course in a sub-4:30 time.
Dave Kelly just pipped Steve on the finishing line of this marathon and described it as:
A beautiful, tough, undulating run around Lake Windermere. Lovely conditions for the run and the rain kept off until we got back to the pub.
Joanna completed this Polish marathon in 4 hours and 15 minutes.
A group of 12 runners and supporting partners travelled to Geneva over the Bank Holiday weekend to take part in the Harmony Geneva Marathon for Unicef.(and Half. The course was flat countryside for most of the run with some off road sections made quite muddy from heavy rain in recent weeks. The last 6- 7 miles was on the shores of Lake Geneva. It rained throughout the race although it was still quite warm. Some ok times listed below. Good times had by all.
12 Sphinx runners took part in the 35th anniversary of the London marathon, and all put in really good performances. Andy Wilkinson achieved a sub-3hr time, Steve Colbourne achieved the highest category placing (67th) and Narinder achieved a sub-4hr time. Hamilton, Dave, Steven, Jackie, Mark, Laura and Andy were sub-4:30, and Fiona achieved a sub-5:30 time.

Max completed this big-city marathon in less than 4 hours, despite a dodgy knee. Well done, Max, rest that knee.
Hamilton completed this popular south-coast marathon and finished in sub-4:30 time, whilst nursing injuries along the way.
