August 25, 2020
Our usual Thursday training nights are returning this week (27th August), however certain measures need to be taken for this to be a safe return.
Current guidance requires us to have a risk assessment in place. This has been emailed out to all seniors.
For track and trace reasons, we ask that you provide your name and contact number when attending training. This will be taken down on the night until we have an app/form in place.
It goes without saying, but if you have symptoms of Covid-19, please do not attend until your isolation period ends.
Upon arrival to the clubhouse, you will find a sanitiser station in the foyer. Please make use of this when entering the building. Please also pay attention to any signage or instructions put in place by Copsewood.
The toilets will be open, however the changing rooms and showers will not be available. The bar will be open, with food limited to ‘BBQ’.
There will be small changes to the way training is conducted. These changes mostly revolve around maintaining social distancing. Please refer back to the email with the risk assessment for more details. As usual, the warm up will start at 6:30pm, with the main session around 7:00pm.
Please note that the warm up run at 6.30pm will be split into smaller groups of similar running pace, leaving a minute or so apart with the faster paced runners leaving first.
Monday night track training will remain suspended until Lyng Hall gives the green light for community use, hopefully by late September.
Any questions or concerns, please contact a committee member or visit our ‘Contact’ page.
