Agent Timms did some undercover running in the Derby Runner XC league (yes, Mitch and cross-country in the same sentence ;) ). Mitch described it thus:
Snow, sleet, biting wind, zero degrees, mud, hills, hills with steps, low hanging branches, protruding branches, more mud, more snow – great value at £3 a shout too! They breed ‘em tough up north you know, none of this 3 times round a football pitch on a flat trail in temperate Gloucester!
