Parkrun results
Well done to all who took part in Parkrun this morning. A special Well Done to Laura Pibworth-Dolinski who has won the Parkrun Cup, knocking 40 seconds off her semi final time, there was no way I was going to be able to beat that :-) Dave Brewis achieved 1st place at Coventry. Vicki O’Brien celebrated her 100th parkrun and treated us to cupcakes afterwards. Thanks to Imogen for making the cakes.
Cheltenham half marathon
Thank you to Jackie who has provided her result and the following race report On 30th September I took part in the Cheltenham half marathon. The weather was perfect, not too hot or too cold. The organisation and support were excellent; plenty of parking, plenty of water stations along the route and loads of spectators all the way round. The race starts in the race course, does an 11 mile loop of the town centre before returning to the race course for the final two miles.
